You must be over 18, passionate about keeping the festival clean and green, and ready to do 3 shifts of 6 hours over the weekend. Plus, there’s a Wednesday evening briefing you need to attend.
You don’t need any specific qualifications or training, just a willingness to get involved and a passion for the sustainability of the event!
The deposit is £100, which you’ll get back after the festival if you complete all your shifts. There’s a £15 admin fee, so you’ll get £85 back.
Yep, you can apply now and pay your deposit later, but be quick! Your spot isn’t confirmed until the deposit’s paid, and spaces are limited
Of course! Just make sure to mention it on your application, and we’ll do our best to get you all on the same shifts
If you’ve got the right to work in the UK, you’re good to go! If not, unfortunately, you won’t be able to volunteer with us.
You’ll work a total of 18 hours over 3 shifts (plus a Wednesday evening briefing at Creamfields and a Tuesday Evening at Download). Shifts are all complete by 8pmm, so you’ll still have plenty of time to enjoy the festival! Your schedule will be emailed to you ahead of the festival so you can plan your weekend.
Yep! You’ll get a briefing document before the festival, and there’s an in-person briefing. Plus, there’ll be on-the-job training when you start your shifts so you’ll be all set!
If you can’t make a shift for a personal or medical emergency, just get in touch before to let us know why. You may be able to do another shift, or you might have to leave the event.
Yes, you need to be available from Tuesday PM at Download, and Wednesday PM at Creamfields. But don’t worry, we’ll send you your shift schedule in advance so you can still plan for fun! There are shifts on the Monday morning which you’ll need to be available for, but you might not be assigned.

CANCELLATION & DEPOSIT REFUNDS
We know that sometimes things happen that are beyond your control. To make things easier to understand, our Cancellation and Deposit Refunds are explained below:
Within 7 Days of Payment: Full deposit refund minus £15 admin fee.
After 7 Days of Payment: You’ll lose your deposit minus a £30 admin fee. If you cancel within 30 days of the festival there’s no refund.
Medical Cancellations: If you cancel for medical reasons with a doctor’s note, you’ll get a full refund minus a £15 fee regardless of when you cancel.
Cooling-Off Period: You’ve got 7 days to cancel after paying unless it’s within 30 days of the festival.
Applications within 30 days of the festival: Sorry there is no cooling off period or refund this close to the festival, unless it is Medical Cancellation.
Appeals: If you don’t get your deposit back due to unsatisfactory performance, you can appeal in writing within 14 days after the festival.
Deposit Refund Processing: Once all your shifts are done, your refund will hit your account in about 10-14 working days. You’ll receive £85 back to the account you paid with.
